CoME Second GA Meeting

The second General Assembly meeting of CoME was held in Arnhem (The Netherlands) last 29th and 30th June 2016. This meeting, that was hosted by ConnectedCare, addressed important aspects like the definition of use cases and the initial establishment of requirements and functionalities for the platform.

The first day meeting was started with a general review of the project status; this was followed by a session where end-user organizations, IRBLL, PBN and ConnectedCare, determined the procedures used to catch end-users and ensure their participation along all the trials envisaged for the project. In addition, IRBLL also presented the use cases for CoME, over which modifications were realized in place based on the ideas that arose along the meeting, e.g., data that can be collected through the wearable device selected for the platform.

The second day meeting was more focused on commercialization and exploitation issues; the session was started with a market analysis where some of the competitors of CoME currently on the market were shown. This was followed by a session where the first business model and exploitation ideas for CoME were set. Finally, a review was made of the dissemination activities to carry out in the following months to give visibility to the project.

As main conclusions of this fruitful meeting arise, the establishment of the use cases and main functionalities that will be included in the initial mockup of CoME and the start of the dissemination, exploitation and market activities.
