Second Following Meeting of CoME in Szombathely (Hungary)

Last 29th and 30th of November 2016 was held in Szombathely (Hungary) the second following of the CoME project. In this meeting, that was hosted by Pannon Business Network Association, some important decisions about functionalities and design and implementation of the first prototype of the platform were taken. This prototype will be shown in the midterm review in mid-2017.

The meeting started with a review of the status of the project, analyzing the progress in these first twelve months. After this, an evaluation of the functionalities of CoME was performed; this evaluation took into account both the user requirements and the functionalities that were gathered in the Description of Work. Based on these functionalities, partners from the University of Geneva presented some possible wearable devices to use in CoME. The day ended with a presentation where end-users’ organizations provided some feedback from end-users after showing them the initial mockup for CoME.

The second day became more technical; a review of the modules and the features of each of them was performed in order to establish a plan for the development of the prototypes. This plan includes the functionalities for each prototype, the partner in charge of developing them and a timeline with dates for deployment and trials. In addition, at this stage, the basis for the validation of the prototypes was set.

Finally, the review of the dissemination activities carried out per each of the partners in the last months was performed together with the actions and guidelines to follow in the future for the exploitation plan and business model in CoME.

Thus, as main result of this meeting, an incremental plan for the design, development and integration of the modules that configure the different prototypes of CoME was obtained. In addition, the meeting was pretty fruitful allowing setting the action guidelines for the coming months in order to start the preparation of the midterm review.
